Isn't amazing how real life and other internet oddities can swallow you up?
Anyways, long story short, I was cleaning up computer and then lost some PSDs most of them Forest of Noir art assets. I wasn't too upset. Much. The art was old and I was taking forever to work on it.
I still have the Ren' Py files. Maybe this is a sign for me to focus on the story rather than art?
A few months ago, there was an argument in a forum about vegetarianism. A user named "Wright something" said that Christianity supports vegetarianism. Out of ignorance, you said that the Bible does not support vegetarianism. You gave the example of the lamb sacrifice in the Old Testament.
ReplyDeleteIf you really are a Christian, you should not use such blasphemy. You should not say wrong things about your own religion.
A loving, just and compassionate God would not be pleased with the killing of his own innocent children.
And what part of "Thou shall not kill" don't you understand?
Read this.
Do not, because of food, destroy what God has done. All food may be eaten, but it is wrong to eat anything that will cause someone else to fall into sin. The right thing to do is to keep from eating meat, drinking wine, or doing anything else that will make your brother fall. Keep what you believe about this matter, then, between yourself and God. Happy is the person who does not feel guilty when he does something he judges is right! But if he has doubts about what he eats, God condemns him when he eats it, because his action is not based on faith. And anything that is not based on faith is sin.
Romans 14 : 20 - 23
Also, remember that Christ was a vegetarian too. Jesus tells his disciples to feed some people, but they tell him that they only have five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus gave thanks for the food, and it multiplied into enough to feed five thousand people. Now the question is, if Jesus was a vegetarian, why was he giving fish to his followers?
This was a translation error.
It is certainly true that dried fishweed would be more likely in a basket with bread, and fishweed remains a popular food among Palestinian peasants like the people to whom Jesus was speaking. Also, in the beginning of the story it says Jesus got to this place by boat. These people were right by the sea. If they were out of fish, why not just go on a quick fishing expedition? Surely with 5,000 men present it would not be that hard to go fishing. With this in mind, it further supports the thought that fishweed was being used, not actual fish.
There are also lots of vegetarian quotes in the Bible. But I won't waste my time my showing them to you. I don't think you are capable of comprehending it.
Don't misinterpret what the Bible says. That's all.

ReplyDeleteI saw that a new Pornography VN was being released and you said that you would try it once your exams are over. And in one of the above posts, you said you were a Christian, didn't you?
ReplyDeleteLet's see what the Bible says about porn.
Jesus, in the Gospel of Matthew says, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery'; but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart."
As you can see, the Bible tells us to be sexually pure. This is why Jesus even tells us to guard our minds. Note that He said in Matt. 5:28 that to even look on a woman lustfully is to commit adultery with her. In viewing pornography, nakedness, and explicit sexual displays lust is not only given the opportunity to rise but most often lustful passions and thoughts are triggered in the heart and mind.
Even if the pornography does not involve viewing sexual intercourse between two people, it involves the viewing of naked individuals which is properly reserved for a husband and a wife.
You claim to be a Christian, but still, you not only contribute to the killing of innocent creatures, but you also watch things that you are not supposed to.
I wonder what Jesus thinks of you.
